Ayo Development StudioStudio work
My development studio, and where most of my client work happens. Ayo Development Studio builds full-stack web apps, MVPs for founders, and marketing sites for businesses. Designed, built, and maintained end to end by one developer who stays accountable for the outcome. Next.js, TypeScript, Node, and PostgreSQL.
Most recent build: a customs advisory site for importers and entrepot license holders in Aruba, with service descriptions, compliance guidance, and a clear path to contact, built to earn trust in a heavily regulated field.
KollabyPersonal project
A web app and companion mobile app for collaboratively planning events, built with friends. Users propose ideas, vote on options, and land on a shared plan without the usual back-and-forth. React and React Native (via Capacitor) on the frontend, AWS Amplify with DynamoDB on the backend, and Cypress for end-to-end testing. We shipped both the web and mobile versions, then shelved the project after deciding not to continue it.
Plan-itPersonal project
A personal planning and scheduling tool built to manage tasks, deadlines, and daily structure, with a clean, distraction-free interface. React on the frontend, a Java/Maven backend, and SQL for storage. Shelved in favor of building Kollaby.
Brazil Dental CarePersonal project
A pro bono build of a website and online booking system for a dental practice, taken on to sharpen my skills and ship a real product end to end. Handles appointment requests, practice information, and patient contact. React, Redux, Node.js, and MongoDB. Shelved after limited feedback and interest from the dentist.
